The Prime Minister for Libya's interim Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, said on Thursday that his government "addressed the problem of electricity when cities were drowning in darkness," but adding, "I say with all courage what has been achieved in the electricity file is still not enough."

He continued, "we are still concerned, busy and contining to work with confidence to ensure the stability of the electrical network and to keep pace with expanding consumption," in a speech at the sixth regular cabinet meeting in Ghadames.

Dabaiba then announced the start of water supply projects, noting that 160 wells were drilled during the last period.

"We also started the file of sewage treatment through a modern network in cities and we will start in Sebha, then implement sewage networks in Ajdabiya and Tripoli", he concluded.
