Egyptian President Abdel Fattah ِEl-Sisi has invited Libyan Presidential Council leader Mohamed Menfi to participate in the summit for Sudan's neighboring countries to be held in Cairo in July.
Menfi received the invitation on Wednesday from the Charge d'Affaires of the Egyptian embassy in Libya, Ambassador Tamer Mustafa, according to the Presidential Council's media office.
The heads of state of Egypt, Libya, Chad, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Eritrea are scheduled to participate in the upcoming summit to discuss ways to stop the fighting in Sudan that has been on going on since April 15.
