Libyan Presidential Council leader Mohamed Menfi praised on Wednesday the role played by Republic of the Congo President Denis Sassou Nguesso and the chairman of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki, in pushing for the success of the Libyan reconciliation project.

This came during his reception of Republic of the Congo Foreign Minister, Jean-Claude Gakosso, and the Director of Cabinet of the Chairperson of the African Union, Mohamed Hassan Ould Labbat, in Tripoli.

The Presidential Council's media office said that they also discussed the latest developments in the national reconciliation project adopted by the Presidential Council, the steps taken in preparation for the convening of the national all-inclusive reconciliation conference and proposals that would ensure the success of this national event through the participation of all actors.
