The incoming Libyan ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Hajer Amr Khalifa Al-Nami, handed her credentials to the Omani Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Al busaidi, on Wednesday.
The head of Omani diplomacy stressed his country's aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations with Libya, wishing full success to the Libyan ambassador in performing her new duties, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Libya's interim Government of National Unity.
After conveying the greetings of Minister Najla Mangoush, Ambassador Al-Nami stressed her efforts to upgrade bilateral relations with Oman and bring "closer cooperation" in various fields.
In addition to Al-Nami, the Foreign Ministry has recently appoint new ambassadors to Ukraine, Azerbaijan, France, Albania, Iran and the Netherlands.
