The head of Libya's Government of National Unity, Abdelhamid Dabaiba, received Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela and his accompanying delegation at the Al-Nasr Forest Halls Complex in Tripoli on Thursday.
The two parties will discuss areas of cooperation regarding electrical interconnection, health, the environment, marine resources, and illegal immigration, according to a government statement.
Abela is visiting Tripoli at the head of a high-level delegation that includes the Minister of the Interior and Security, Byron Camilleri, and the Minister of Environment, Energy and Enterprises, Miriam Dalli.
Government of National Unity Foreign Minister Najal Mangoush received Abela and the delegation upon arrival at Mitiga International Airport earlier in the morning.
