The Morocco Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the reopening of its consulates in Tripoli and Benghazi after nine years of closure, in addition to opening a new consulate in Miami, Florida.

The decision came after the appointments of 23 new consul generals the Moroccan foreign ministry said in a statement.

The statement, however, did not provide any details about the reopening of the Moroccan Embassy in Libya.
