The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) announced the arrival of equipment and spare parts for the Zueitina power station.

The equipment will be used to complete "major overhaul works of the first and second gas units at the station", according to a company statement on Monday.

The works are being carried out by the plant’s technicians and engineers, with the participation of ALGEC Energy and US Company GE.
