Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Eni North Africa handed held a ceremony after the installation of a wastewater treatment plant at Nalut General Hospital on Sunday.
The project aims to treat the wastewater at Nalut General Hospital and preserve the surrounding environment.
The plant has a capacity of 250 cubic meters per day and will use the treated water for irrigation, according to a NOC statement.
The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Sustainable Development Department at the NOC, Hamid bin Saleh, the head of Sustainable Development at Eni North Africa Abdul-Azim Al-Balouq, the Mayor of Nalut Abdel-Wahhab Al-Hijam, and engineers on the project.
