International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan confirmed that the arrest warrants issued for wanted persons in Libya are “just a first step” and that there is "compelling evidence" for other crimes, noting that the court will do more during the coming stage

In his briefing on the situation in Libya, which was presented to the UN Security Council on Thursday, Khan said, "We should not see human rights trampled anywhere in the world," so that the victims and their families do not lose faith in international justice.

Khan called on the UN Security Council and the United Nations to cooperate with the International Criminal Court to achieve justice in Libya, noting that the court will remain in close cooperation with the Libyan Public Prosecutor to achieve justice for the victims.
