The general installations management team at the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) is preparing to install an electrical transformer at the Zuwara station, the company announced on Monday.

The transformer was transported from the Al-Ajailat station according to the company's statement on Monday.

The transformer will contribute to eliminating current fluctuations in the region as a result of high loads.

It added that these works also come within the framework of improving voltage and addressing problems in the electrical network.
