The Chief of the General Staff for Libya's interim Government of National Unity, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Haddad, discussed joint cooperation, support for the army and provision of training expertise in all fields with a delegation from the British Embassy on Monday.
The meeting was held at General Staff headquarters in Tripoli.
In a statement, Al-Haddad's office said that he stressed the depth of relations between Libya and the United Kingdom during the meeting.
The meeting comes two weeks after Al-Haddad met with the Commanding Officer of the Joint Expeditionary Force, Major General Jim Morris, and his accompanying delegation.
