The General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced the discovery of a new mass grave off Salem Bin Ali Road in the city of Tarhuna on Monday.

The authority confirmed, in a brief statement on its Facebook page, that its teams will start exhuming the bodies from the site on Tuesday.

The Public Prosecution is currently conducting investigations on the mass graves being discovered, and interviewing the families of the victims.

 Meanwhile, the "Kani militia" is accused of killing hundreds of civilians in connection with these mass graves.
