Libya's parliament-appointed government announced that it is establishing a field hospital in Al-Marj with a capacity of 400 beds, after calls and complaints about the lack of emergency capabilities at a time when the city was hit by earthquakes last Wednesday.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Crisis Committee in the Eastern Region, Ali Al-Qatrani, visited Al-Marj on Saturday to find out the latest developments regarding the earthquakes in the city.
Alwasat's correspondent in the city learned that the government headed by Fathi Bashaga also approved a plan to remodel and equip the isolation center at Al-Marj Hospital and provide it with a number of new ambulances.
