Libya's interim Government of National Unity sent a fifth shipment of medicine and food to the earthquake-affected areas in Syria and Turkey.

The government published pictures of the shipment at Mitiga International Airport on Thursday morning, noting that the air bridge of aid from Libya continues, in coordination with the embassies in the two countries.

Rescue work continues in the two countries after last week's devastating earthquake left nearly 40,000 dead.
