The Interior Ministry for Libya's interim National Unity Government announced the continuation of the removal and demolition of illegally constructed buildings on Al-Nakhil Street in Bani Walid.

The Law Enforcement Department of the General Directorate of Security Operations carried out the demolition work, accompanied by a force from the 444th Combat Brigade, patrols from the Bani Walid Security Directorate, the Tripoli Public Services Company, the Agricultural Police and the Bani Walid Municipal Guard, according to a ministry statement.

The Ministry affirmed the continuation of the work until the completion of its tasks as assigned to the department by Attorney General Siddiq Al-Sur.
