The head of Libya's interim Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, ordered that Thursday would be an official holiday to mark the 12th anniversary of the February 17th revolution.
This came in Resolution No. 75 of 2023, published on the government's Facebook page on Sunday.
“Thursday, February 16, 2023, will be a holiday for all employees in public agencies and the like, in celebration of the anniversary of the Libyan revolution (February 17), provided that facilities with humanitarian and public security services are taken into consideration.”
