The Libyan Red Crescent announced the recovery of the body of Owais Al-Rishi from the waters of Wadi Ghaan Dam, north of the city of Gharyan.

The organization added in a statement that the search for the young male lasted for more than three days, with emergency response teams from Gharyan and Tripoli cooperating with the local authorities.

Al-Rishi went missing in the waters near the dam more than three days ago, his family had appealed for the intervention of the concerned authorities to search for him.
