The Speaker of Libya's House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, affirmed support for the efforts of UN envoy Abdoulaye Bathily during a meeting with German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohmacht.

The meeting held on Thursday in Saleh’s office in the city of Qubbah also discussed the latest developments in the situation in Libya, according to a statement.

This meeting comes after Ohnmacht visited with the Steering Council of Benghazi and Marshal Khalifa Haftar on Wednesday.
