The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Minister Nasser Bourita received the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya Abdoulaye Bathily, in Rabat on Monday.

The brief statement did not provide more details about the meeting.

The talks between the UN envoy and the Moroccan minister come two days after Bathily's visit to The Republic of Congo and his meeting with its president, who also heads the African Union's high-level commission on Libya.
