The Ministry of Interior of Libya's interim Government of National Unity announced on Sunday evening, that all roads surrounding Martyrs' Square in the capital, Tripoli, will be closed from dawn on Monday morning until further notice.

In a statement released on Sunday, the ministry stated that this procedure comes as it announces the launch of the first phase of the security plan to secure Tripoli and its surrounding areas.
