The branch of the Libyan Red Crescent Society in Bani Walid launched a charity campaign under the slogan “Warm Winter” in order to collect a large number of winter clothes and shoes, and distribute them to low-income families in the city to alleviate their suffering in cold weather.
A member of the society in the city, Abdel Qader Al-Ghattas, told Alwasat on Tuesday, that they were able to distribute humanitarian aid to 43 families in the first stage of the campaign.
Al-Ghattas called on citizens and owners of shops and markets in the city of Bani Walid to participate in supporting the campaign to collect new and used clothes and provide humanitarian aid to be delivered to those who deserve it.
