The Sebha Security Directorate announced the raid of a house suspected of being a "prison" for kidnap victims in the Jadid locality.
The Directorate indicated in a statement on Saturday that “the house was raided with the permission of the Public Prosecution on November 21 and it found a number of rooms inside with solid iron doors that are tightly closed.”
The statement noted the seizure of a 61-caliber mortar, tools for manufacturing homemade alcohol and a number of African women engaged in prostitution.
The policemen arrested the owner of the house, a Libyan, who provided a confession to all charges.
