The Ministry of the Interior for Libya's Government of National Unity announced the dismantling of explosives and explosive devices in the Kararim area.

In a statement, the Ministry of the Interior indicated that "a report was received by the Central Criminal Investigation Service stating that a quantity of ammunition and shells was scattered in the Kararim area near Al-Sikkah Road".

It explained that experts moved and destroyed the explosive using secure methods.

Last August, a rocket and unexploded ordnance were recovered from various places in the areas of Bab Bin Ghashir and Al-Zawiya Street in Tripoli, the items were remnants of the clashes that took place in the city.
