The Ministry of the Interior for the Government of National Unity said that a group from the Somali community in Tripoli stormed the headquarters of the Embassy of Somalia in the Janzour area.

The ministry indicated in a statement on Friday, that it assigned the General Department for the Protection of Diplomatic Missions to intervene and take the necessary measures. It will coordinate between the Charge d'Affaires of the Somali embassy and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior.

The assailants were arrested and referred to the relevant police station, according to the statement.
