Switzerland's ambassador to Tunisia and Libya, Josef Renggli, affirmed his country's support for efforts to hold parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya as soon as possible.

This came during his meeting with the Government of National Unity Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Mangoush, where they discussed activating and developing bilateral relations between the two countries on Wednesday.

Renggli affirmed Switzerland's support for the democratic process in Libya, peace efforts, and the maintaining of stability and security in it.
