Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba met with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, in the city of Izmir on Wednesday.
Dabaiba is attending military exercises hosted by Turkey, with the participation of 25 countries, including Libya, according to a statement by his media office.
The statement indicated that a technical meeting was held between Dabaiba and Akar, in the presence of Libyan Army Chief of General Staff, Mohammed Al-Haddad, where they focused on "supporting training and development programs for the Libyan army and discussing cooperation between the two countries."
Dabaiba was also accompanied by the chiefs of staff of naval and air forces, the commanders of the military regions and a number of department directors from the Ministry of Defense.
