The Kufra Security Directorate announced the liberation of 42 migrants, who were being held on a farm in the city.
The directorate said it received information about the presence of migrants on a farm in the Al-Jawf Al-Gharbi neighborhood and began an investigation to confirm its accuracy.
After notifying the Public Prosecutor, security forces raided the farm and arrested a citizen with two Sudanese nationals, who were in possession of a Kalashnikov gun, after they resisted.
The forces freed 42 migrants of Sudanese, Somali and Eritrean nationalities. The 36 men, three women, and three children were transferred to the city police station.
