The 444th Combat Brigade, affiliated with the forces of the Government of National Unity, announced on Monday a raid of six safe houses taken by outlaw gangs for kidnapping and smuggling, in an operation in the city of Bani Walid.

The brigade said it began the operation on Monday morning "amid the welcome and support of the people of the city to eliminate outlaws."

It also announced the arrest of an individual wanted for murder case  and stressed that these operations will continue to impose security, maintain stability, extend the power of the state and support its institutions.
