Minister of Interior for Libya's Government of National, Khaled Mazen, discussed facilitating the procedures for Libyan citizens to obtain a visa from the Spanish Embassy in Libya, in addition to discussing work to return stolen artifacts.

This came during his meeting with his Spanish counterpart Fernando Grande-Marlaska, in the presence of the Libyan Ambassador to Spain, Walid Abu Abdullah on the sidelines of a workshop on the Libyan crisis, held in the city of Toledo.

A statement published by the Ministry of Interior said that the meeting discussed prospects for joint security cooperation between the two countries, training programs to benefit from Spanish expertise and an agreement to prepare a memorandum of joint security cooperation.

The statement concluded that Minister Khaled Mazen invited his Spanish counterpart to visit Libya, and Grande-Marlaska welcomed the invitation.
