The Kufra municipality announced the resumption of work on the Kufra-Buzreiq road maintenance project, after a halt of years.

The Mayor of Kufra Municipality, Abdulrahman Aqoub, made a visit to the work site at dawn on Tuesday to see the progress of work.

The executing company has already started the construction of the service road in preparation for scraping the old road and starting paving work, according to a statement.

Resumption of work on the road was a targeted project in the "Return to Life" program launched by the Government of National Unity.
