Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio met with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, on Wednesday to discuss developments in Ukraine and Libya, in addition to defense and economic cooperation between the two parties.

This came on the sidelines of NATO foreign ministers meeting in Brussels, which is scheduled to last for two days.

The NATO meeting includes the participation of 30 foreign ministers and will go on until Thursday.
