A source from the Presidential Council confirmed to Alwasat on Sunday evening that the council canceled its decision to appoint media personality Sana Al-Mansouri, as ambassador to Japan, a month after her appointment.

On November 21, 2021, the Council issued a decision appointing 14 ambassadors, including Al-Mansouri.

Al-Mansouri, a human rights activist, became famous through her previous work for the Libya Al-Ahrar channel, during the events of the February revolution.
