Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs Najla Mangoush agreed with her Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, on the need to "support all international means and efforts to establish security and stability in Libya and move towards further development and prosperity".
This came during a meeting on the sidelines of Mangoush's participation in the ministerial meeting of the international coalition against ISIS held in Rome on Monday, where the two sides discussed "aspects of relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen them in various fields in order to serve common interests", according to the Libyan News Agency.
The two sides also exchanged views about regional and international issues of common interest.
Speaking at the ministerial meeting of the international coalition against ISIS, Mangoush stressed Libya's role in scaling back ISIS in the region, noting that "several battles that Libyans have faced in the West, East and South have cost the Libyan people lives, property and materiel."
