Libya's national coronavirus vaccination campaign was launched in Ghadames, targeting people aged 70 and over.

Inspectors from the Food and Drug Control Center of Ghadames Office conducted an inspection tour of the health care center responsible for the implementation of the campaign, accompanied by members of the municipal guard, according to the center's statement on its Facebook page, on Tuesday.

The statement said that the AstraZeneca vaccine was being used in the city, the inspectors confirmed that the vaccines were stored in cool conditions, and the sanitary arrangements and procedures within the health center were "excellent".
