GNA Defense Ministry looking to open training centers for the rehabilitation of forces in Jafara and Zawiya

The Minister of Defense for Libya's Government National Accord (GNA), Salahadin Al-Nimroush, and the chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Haddad, visited the Zahra and Al-Mamoura camps southwest of the capital Tripoli on Monday, and met with the military leaders in the region to discuss the opening of training centers.

The GNA ministry of defense said in a statement that this step comes as part of its endeavors to develop the performance of military institutions, noting that Al-Nimroush and Al-Haddad also met with the mayors of the municipalities of the Jafara region and a number of elders.

The ministry added that during his visit, Al-Nimroush discussed "the mechanism for the rehabilitation of fighters and their integration into the military establishment, praising the seriousness of the military leadership and their cooperation in building a strong military institution loyal to God and the homeland."
