Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad has officially assumed his duties as Chief of the General Staff of the Government of National Accord (GNA) forces on Thursday.
The handover ceremony took place between Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Sharif and Al-Haddad at the headquarters of the Military College in Tripoli, according to the GNA's "Volcano of Anger" operation.
On the seventh of September, Fayez Al-Sarraj, appointed Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad as Chief of General Staff, in a military ceremony held at the headquarters of the Presidential Council in Tripoli.
