The Information Office for Libya's Presidential Council announced that Fayez Al-Sarraj reached an agreement with King Abdullah of Jordan "to activate the agreements of joint cooperation in the areas of economy, security, health and education."
The agreement came during a meeting held on Sunday with King Abdullah at Al-Husseiniya Palace in Amman, during which they discussed the most important files of cooperation between Libya and the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Al-Sarraj praised Jordan's achievements and its commitment to moderation. He also wished Jordan's continued security, stability and prosperity and briefed the Jordanian King on the latest political developments in Libya.
The press office also added that Al-Sarraj praised the hospitality and reception by the King and expressed his appreciation and gratitude for Jordan's government and people's support for Libya and the Government of National Accord.
For his part, King Abdullah bin Al Hussein welcomed Al-Sarraj and his accompanying delegation, stressing the deep ties between the Libyan and Jordanian peoples, his keenness for stability in Libya and his support for the Libyan territorial integrity.
