The Tripoli Security Directorate reported that the Tripoli Zoo saw a large turnout of visitors on Sunday, the third day of Eid al-Fitr. The Directorate posted photos on its Facebook page showing visitors to the zoo and the police officers responsible for security there.

The zoo opened last Friday following the completion of its renovation, which included the implementation of a smart electronic ticketing system, the installation of an advanced surveillance system comprising more than 450 cameras, and the establishment of a central control room connected to all systems via a fiber-optic network.

The upgrades also included the installation of a sound system comprising 200 units, as well as modern fire suppression and early warning systems, thereby enhancing the zoo’s readiness to welcome and ensure the safety of visitors.
