Jafra Municipal Council announced the opening of a public park, known as “Duck Island Park,” in the Mujahid neighborhood of Hun, which lacked any recreational facilities.

The park covers an area of 9,444 square meters and has been equipped with grass and ornamental trees, as well as wooden benches and playground equipment for children, according to a statement posted on the council's Facebook page on Thursday.

The park cost 840,000 dinars and has an underground water tank and a private water network.

The council's project management department oversaw the project.
