The First Libyan Stroke Conference kicked off in Tripoli, with the participation of doctors, consultants, and specialists from a number of fields.
The event featured discussions on the latest developments in stroke diagnosis and treatment, as well as strategies for improving medical services provided to patients.
The conference aims to support cooperation between health and academic institutions, contribute to the development of health infrastructure, and improve the quality of medical care for stroke patients in Libya, according to the Libyan News Agency.
Health Sector Development
The event was attended by the Minister of State for the Affairs of the Head of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Ben Ghalboun; the Head of the Executive Team for Presidential Initiatives and Strategic Projects, Mustafa Al-Mana; and the Head of the General Authority for Medical Equipment, Supplies, and Devices.
During his speech, Bin Ghalboun said that the government supports scientific and medical initiatives aimed at developing the health sector, emphasizing the importance of supporting specialized and research programs and promoting integration among various medical specialties.
