The Project Management Team of Benghazi Municipality has prepared a report on the sewage crisis in the Old Al-Kish neighborhood following a field visit to the area.
The report will be submitted to the Municipal Council at a later date to pave the way for taking the necessary measures to address the problem and improve service levels in the area.
The team examined the problem of sewage overflow and assessed its causes firsthand on the ground, given its direct impact on residents’ lives, according to a statement posted by the municipality on its Facebook page yesterday, Wednesday.
The team also listened to the observations and complaints of neighborhood residents to identify priorities for addressing the issue and develop practical solutions. All observations were documented, and a comprehensive report was prepared containing proposals to address the sewage overflow.
