Bayda Medical Center received an MRI machine on Sunday evening, the first of its kind at the facility since its inception.

The center's management said in a statement that the MRI was “supplied by Al-Sada Company for Medical Supplies and Equipment, the exclusive agent of the Dutch company Philips in Libya”.

It added this addition was added as par of the "full support" of the Ministry of Health and the House of Representatives, "to improve the level of medical services within the center, and to provide for all patients' needs, in order to alleviate their suffering and provide them with the best medical care.
