Libya's National Centre for Disease Control announced on Wednesday that there were 29 new cases Covid-19 without any deaths, between May 9 and 15.

In its weekly bulletin on the epidemiological situation in Libya, it indicated that it had received 1,706 samples from different laboratories, bringing the percentage of positive cases to 2%.

The total number of Covid infections since March 2020 stands at 501,960, with 4,485 active cases, 491,049 recoveries and 6,426 deaths.
