Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 48 new Covid-19 infections after testing conducted on Wednesday.

In it's daily bulletin released on Thursday, the center also noted that there were 127 recoveries from the virus and two deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya to 501,705 cases of which 5,337 are still currently active, with a total of 6,415 deaths since the outbreak began in the country during March 2020.
