Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 47 new Covid-19 infections after testing conducted on Tuesday.

In it's daily bulletin released on Wednesday, the center also noted that there were 123 recoveries from the virus and two deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya to 501,657 cases of which 5,418 are still currently active, with a total of 6,413 deaths since the outbreak began in the country during March 2020.
