Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 51 new Covid-19 infections after testing conducted on Monday.

In it's daily bulletin released on Tuesday, the center also noted that there were 289 recoveries from the virus and three deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya to 501,610 cases of which 5,496 are still currently active, with a total of 6,411 deaths since the outbreak began in the country during March 2020.
