Masoud Suleman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), met with Alessandro Tiani, General Manager of Eni North Africa, to explore ways to strengthen joint cooperation on gas projects and discuss a number of technical and strategic issues of mutual interest.

The meeting addressed opportunities to develop current and future gas projects and work to bring them into production as soon as possible, in addition to mechanisms for increasing production rates from existing fields and supporting the corporation’s plans to implement its projects, thereby contributing to enhancing stability and achieving development goals, according to a post on the “Our Government” Facebook page on Tuesday.

The two sides discussed developments related to the project to utilize flared gas at the Al-Bouri field and the development work on offshore installations “A” and “E,” emphasizing the importance of continuing the partnership and coordination to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with the highest technical and operational standards.
