The first session of the Libyan-Bosnian Business Forum kicked off on Tuesday in the city of Misrata, at the Libyan Iron and Steel Company hall.
The opening of the forum was attended by the mayor and members of the Misrata Municipal Council, as well as a number of officials, businesspeople, and representatives of economic institutions from both sides, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation and opening new horizons for joint investment between Libya and Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to a statement from the Misrata Municipality.
Focus on Strengthening Public-Private Partnerships
The municipality added that the forum seeks to strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors and exchange expertise in various fields, thereby contributing to economic development.
Economic openness with Bosnia and Herzegovina
The forum’s program includes dialogue sessions and bilateral meetings between companies to discuss cooperation opportunities in a number of vital sectors and work toward building sustainable economic relations that serve the interests of both parties.
The Municipality of Misrata emphasized the importance of economic openness and strengthening international cooperation to support the development process and achieve shared interests.
