The seventh edition of the Libya International Food Exhibition kicked off on Sunday, at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds, with the participation of 14 countries and 99 foreign companies.

The exhibition will continue until April 1, with the participation of more than 103 local companies specializing in the food industry, factory and production line equipment, restaurant and café equipment, and packaging technologies, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Economy for the Government of National Unity.

The exhibition is organized by the International Exhibition and Conference Company, under the supervision of the General Authority for Exhibitions and the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture.

The opening ceremony was attended by the ministers of Industry and Minerals, Economy and Trade, and Tourism, along with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry for Production Affairs, the President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, the Executive Director of the Libyan Federation of Industry, and a number of heads of diplomatic missions to Libya.
