Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Thursday that oil revenues will rise to $21.9 billion in 2025, compared to $18.6 billion in 2024, an increase of 15%.
The corporation published on its Facebook page details of the oil revenues deposited in the Libyan state's sovereign account during 2025, broken down by month, including royalties and the minimum and maximum crude oil prices during the period.
Oil revenues during 2025
In detail, total oil revenues amounted to $21,985,358 billion during 2025, including $3,268,129,000 in royalties and concession taxes, in addition to €71,363,915 deposited in the sovereign account.
Oil revenues in 2024
Total revenues reached $18,611,334 billion in 2024.
The NOC indicated that the average price of Brent crude oil was at $69 in 2025, compared to $80.76 in 2024.
The NOC affirmed that it is performing its role “with complete professionalism and transparency,” in accordance with the regulations, laws, legislation in force, and approved agreements, stressing that it will continue to publish all data related to 2025 in succession, including locally consumed fuels and oil, partners' shares, natural gas data, petroleum products, and petrochemicals.
